Stay Fast

Stay Fast is a short (2-5 mins), arcade-style, single-player racing game where you must race through the frozen-over planet of Diamys and reach the rescue ship awaiting you in the city outskirts! Avoid freezing-over due to the planet's subzero temperatures by keeping your speed up! Drift around corners to gain nitro and use that sweet boost to thaw the ice from your trusty hover vehicle! 

Try to score three stars and beat your previous high-scores for new dialogue! 

Controls:

• A, D - Steer Left/Right
• W - Accelerate
• S - Reverse/Brake
• Esc - Pause
• Shift - Nitro Boost
• Space - Drift

This is a student team project developed by me and four others over the course of 2 months for the Game Design program at Vancouver Film School. 

**Known Bug: Sometimes when you attempt to drift at the tutorial drift prompt, the game will freeze, the best course of action from this point is to ALT+F4 and re-open the game as attempting to retry from the pause menu or main menu will break the game**
